Floyette Originals is a family-owned business that provides superior-quality hats for dancers, drill teams, and other performers.  Our hats are not only made well but also designed to last through the season and for years after.

Floyette Originals is the longest-running and most well-known drill team and performance hat business in Texas and surrounding states. We pride ourselves on serving individuals and teams of any size – from 1 to 1000 – so that you don’t have to worry about quantity limitations.

Our business was created by our beloved grandmother, Floyette Waller.  A trained milliner as a young woman, she built a thriving business in her Oak Cliff, Texas garage, creating hats for a large number of hat companies around Dallas, including an exclusive line with Neiman Marcus.  She transitioned to making hats for the new drill teams that were starting to grow in popularity in the early 1960s, and the Floyette Originals that we know and love today was born.

Today, Floyette Originals remains a family business — owned by her children, Lonnette and Larry, and operated by her granddaughters, Leeann and Jennifer. We have an amazing team of skilled talent that creates each hat one-by-one, specifically for the dancer who will wear it. Are you ready to design your hat?
